Do you have a degree in geomatics / cartography / urban planning and knowledge in project management? Join our client, a major public services player, to lead the development of an innovative geoportal used daily by more than 700 employees!

About the role

As the right hand of the GIS Manager, you will combine your technical geomatician skills and your Product Owner role to steer the development and evolution of the company’s geoportal. You will bridge the needs of field users and the technical team.

Tasks

Management and development of mapping applications within an agile environment to optimise the management of distribution networks.

• Manage and steer the agile delivery of mapping and planning tools
• Gather, understand and translate user requirements for the geoportal
• Collaborate with the GIS Manager to define the product vision and prioritise developments
• Ensure quality control of integrated geospatial data
• Test developed mapping solutions before deployment
• Support users in adopting the tools and organise training sessions
• Write the necessary technical and functional documentation

We are looking for

• Higher education in geomatics, cartography or urban planning
• Good command of GIS software, particularly the ArcGIS platform
• Good understanding and practice of Agile methodology
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proactivity and curiosity

An advantage if you have

• Experience as a Product Owner or in digital product management
• Basic knowledge of Python scripting
• Knowledge of application design (UX)
