Data Platform Manager (M/F) 80-100%
Mission:
- Drive the vision, roadmap and evolution of the Data Platform to support business needs in BI, analytics, data science and AI.
- Gather, challenge and prioritise business needs, then translate them into concrete platform capabilities, services and developments.
- Define and enforce platform standards: architecture, catalogue, quality, security, documentation, industrialisation and best practices.
- Ensure coherence of the Data architecture with IT architects, security, data governance and external partners.
- Manage the operational functioning of the platform: support, requests, incidents, KPIs, costs, service levels and continuous improvement.
- Support Data competence centres, assist less mature entities and animate the Data Platform community.
- Contribute to governance, compliance, data protection, fine access management and enhancement of the company’s Data assets.
Profile:
- Higher education in computer science, information systems, data engineering, data science, statistics or equivalent training.
- Proven experience in managing Data projects, products or services, ideally in a Platform Owner, Product Owner, Service Owner or Data Lead role.
- Good understanding of modern Data architectures, cloud platforms, BI, data engineering, data science and solution industrialisation.
- Knowledge of data governance: catalogue, quality, lineage, security, access management, documentation and data lifecycle.
- Ability to structure a roadmap, prioritise requests, coordinate partners and transform business needs into robust, value-creating solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with business, IT, architecture, security, data owners, data stewards and external partners.
- Desired knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Entra ID or equivalent solutions.
- Cross-functional leadership, autonomy, analytical and synthesis skills, quality orientation, service mindset and ability to unite teams in a changing environment.
