Operational Buyer / Material Disponent (m/f/d)

Role:
In this versatile role, you ensure the timely and economical procurement of materials, components, and services, thereby making an important contribution to a smooth production process.
Responsibilities:
Independent handling of operational purchasing of raw materials, components, trade goods, and services
Ensuring timely material availability considering quality, costs, and delivery times
Creation and monitoring of orders as well as active deadline tracking
Obtaining and comparing offers as well as conducting price and condition negotiations
Managing existing suppliers and supporting the development of new supplier relationships
Processing order confirmations, delivery deviations, and complaints
Maintaining and updating article, supplier, and purchasing master data in the ERP system
Monitoring and optimising inventory levels and procurement processes
Close collaboration with production planning, logistics, engineering, and quality assurance
Qualifications:
Completed commercial or technical basic training
Further training in purchasing, for example as a purchasing specialist with a federal certificate, is an advantage
Several years of professional experience in operational purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing industrial company
Good knowledge of SAP and confident MS Office user skills, especially Excel
Technical understanding and interest in industrial manufacturing processes
Fluent German skills and good English skills
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Strong awareness of costs, quality, and deadlines
Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
Team spirit, resilience, and enjoyment of a dynamic industrial environment
