The Emergency Centre of KSW is one of the largest emergency centres in the region and combines the departments of Adult Emergency, Paediatric and Adolescent Emergency, Emergency Practice, Emergency Bed Ward as well as Emergency Reception under one roof. Around 65,000 patients are cared for interprofessionally with us annually – quickly, competently and with high quality.
For the Emergency Bed Ward area, we are looking for a committed and innovative personality as Deputy Head of Department Nursing, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks
- You support and represent the Head of Department Nursing Emergency Bed Ward in all leadership tasks and are part of a committed, interprofessional team on our interdisciplinary emergency bed ward
- You lead, promote and accompany your directly subordinate employees, take over duty planning and ensure a smooth process in day-to-day business
- Part of your workload is spent actively working on the Emergency Bed Ward across all three shifts; leadership and administrative tasks are carried out during regular office hours
- You act as a role model, strengthen the team culture and bring in new impulses to continuously develop the high nursing quality and interprofessional collaboration
Your profile
- You are a qualified nurse and have several years of experience in an acute hospital
- You have already gained leadership experience or are motivated to develop further in this role – you have completed or will soon complete appropriate leadership training
- You possess strong social skills, communicative strength and enjoy working in a large, diverse and interdisciplinary team
- You think ahead, act proactively and contribute with your commitment to constructive, solution-oriented collaboration
- You appreciate a dynamic environment where you can take responsibility, shape and at the same time apply your professional expertise daily
