Role:
In this role, you take on operational support in the system administration environment and ensure that disruptions and requests in 1st and 2nd level are handled efficiently. You analyse incidents, carry out troubleshooting, coordinate escalation if necessary and document your activities in a structured manner in the relevant systems. You are responsible for the stable operation of the systems you support, monitor their availability and assist with maintenance, updates and minor changes. In addition, you competently advise users on technical issues, explain solutions clearly and thus actively contribute to increasing user satisfaction. Through your professional appearance and your experience as a system administrator, you make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of support processes and the system landscape.
Responsibilities:
- You take on 1st and basic 2nd level support via ticket system, telephone, email, Teams and on site.
- In this role, you analyse and resolve issues related to Windows 11, Microsoft 365, user accounts and standard applications.
- You accompany onboarding and offboarding, set up access, workstations and devices, and configure user accounts.
- As a system administrator, you manage workstations and devices with endpoint management tools such as Intune and administer basic access rights (e.g. in Active Directory / Entra).
- You perform routine checks of the IT environment, including device status, security, backups and IT asset overview, and document these in knowledge management.
- In this role, you work closely with senior engineers as well as L2/L3 teams and support employees through training and phishing simulations.
Qualifications:
- Initial experience or strong interest in IT support (L1 or junior L2 level)
- Good knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Basic understanding of network concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
- Willingness to work practically with hardware and peripheral devices
- Confident manner in dealing with customers and clear, understandable communication
- High willingness to learn in order to further develop in the areas of systems, hardware and IT infrastructure
