Your tasks
- Support in the preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS and HGB with own areas of responsibility
- Monitoring local audit progress and acting as central contact for auditors during preliminary and main audits
- Analysis, monitoring and continuous optimisation of operational accounting processes in group companies
- Standardisation and harmonisation of accounting policies, posting logics and booking systems within the group
- Further development of group instructions for operational accounting (Accounting Manuals, Guidelines)
- Ensuring compliance with group-wide requirements as well as identifying deviations and implementing best practices
- Accompanying and supporting special projects (e.g. integration of new companies, introduction of new IFRS standards, system changes)
- Taking over project coordination topics in the accounting environment including coordination with various departments and stakeholders
Your profile
- Successfully completed business studies with a focus on accounting, accounting or comparable qualification (e.g. professional certificate)
- Very good knowledge of IFRS and ideally HGB
- Project management skills as well as the ability to independently drive topics forward and coordinate with various stakeholders
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as a structured, precise and responsible way of working
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness in a complex environment
- Very good knowledge of German
