Deputy Head of IT (m/f/d) - Security / Authorities Division

Your Tasks

• Professional, organisational and personnel support of the IT management in a security-relevant organisation
• Active participation in the digital transformation and strategic orientation of IT
• Independent planning, coordination and implementation of IT projects and operational initiatives
• Technical responsibility for assigned IT services, applications and systems including stable operation
• Interface function between IT and business to develop practical solutions
• Coordination with internal and external service providers as well as stakeholders
• Personnel management including deployment, absence and on-call planning
• Representation of IT management in specialist committees and during their absence

Our Requirements

• Higher education in computer science (HF, FH or equivalent) as well as several years of experience in professional and personnel management
• Business understanding for efficient, customer-oriented and sustainable IT services
• Sound knowledge in client-server computing, middleware and ICT security
• Analytical thinking, high methodological competence and structured, solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills, persuasiveness and confident appearance
• Very good German and good English skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional on-call duties
• Knowledge of project management (HERMES) and Matrix42 is an advantage
• Driving licence category B
