Your Contribution

As a Supply Manager at Tecan, you are a central part of our Supply Management team and ensure that our material supply runs smoothly. You optimise availability, quality and costs, develop our supplier relationships further and contribute your ideas for efficient processes. With your commitment, you help us achieve our ambitious departmental and corporate goals – and delight our customers worldwide.

• Independent procurement and support of suppliers and product lines within the framework of global and local procurement and quality policies
• Optimisation of material availability, inventory turnover, quality and costs as well as continuous development of procurement and logistics processes
• Support in negotiating and concluding contracts with suppliers as well as active development of supplier relationships
• Coordination and communication with internal and external interfaces, including handling Non Conformity Reports and Corrective Actions
• Maintenance and recording of procurement master data in the ERP system (SAP R3/S4) as well as implementation of change requests and article recordings
• Participation in internal departmental projects.

Your Profile

• Completed training in a technical or commercial field
• Ideally further training as a federally certified purchaser or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of experience in operational or strategic procurement
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Experience with SAP R3/S4 and Excel
• You are familiar with the national and international supplier market
• You are confident in negotiations, efficient, practical and self-assured
• Resilience, team spirit, communication skills and social competence characterise you
• You are innovative, goal-oriented, reliable and think entrepreneurially
• Flexibility, willingness to learn and openness to new things complete your profile
