Cost & Procurement Controller (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 120,000Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, a globally active Swiss family business from the industrial sector with a very good market position and innovative high-performance solutions, we are looking for an analytically strong specialist in procurement controlling.
As part of the division controlling team, you are the central interface between finance and procurement. In this internationally oriented role, you work closely with the Global Head of Procurement, the local purchasing teams, and divisional controlling, making a direct contribution to increasing competitiveness and profitability.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for global procurement controlling and further develop standardised control and reporting processes, methods, and KPI definitions across international locations
You manage the periodic controlling cycle (budget, forecast, monthly closings, reporting)
You conduct price variance analyses (PPV) and cost-savings trackers, further develop these, and monitor relevant measures across all locations and product groups
You monitor and analyse material, supplier, and purchasing price developments and develop decision-making bases for sustainable improvement of profitability
You act as a sparring partner for the Global Head of Procurement, local purchasing teams, as well as finance and supply chain organisations
You support strategic purchasing decisions with well-founded analyses and business cases and contribute to supplier, cost, and make-or-buy decisions
Qualifications:
You have a completed degree in finance, controlling, business administration, supply chain management, or industrial engineering
You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in procurement controlling or purchasing in an international industrial environment
You possess a solid understanding of cost structures, purchasing processes, and margin mechanisms as well as strong analytical skills and a high affinity for data
You have very good SAP knowledge (FI/CO, CO-PA, MM) and very good Excel skills (including Power Query), experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik, and an affinity for data analytics and AI solutions
You convince with negotiation-level English skills (C1); German skills are an advantage
