The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The University Service of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (SUPEA) serves as a reference centre for psychiatric treatments aimed at children and adolescents in the canton of Vaud.
The DEPART unit's mission is to promote early intervention to reduce the impact of cannabis, alcohol, other psychotropic substance use, or problematic screen use during adolescence.
Services are aimed at adolescents aged 12 to 20, their families, and professionals in the educational, social, medical, psychological, judicial, and school networks.
The interdisciplinary team consists of child psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers. Interventions mainly take place in pairs.
Activities will primarily be deployed in the Central region (Chavannes-près-Renens) and occasionally in the Western region (Nyon) or other regions of the canton.
