Clinique de la Plaine is a human-scale establishment located right in the city centre of Geneva. Its small size allows it to provide attentive and individualised care.
To strengthen our operating theatre team, we are looking for a:
Specialised Operating Theatre Nurse (IDDO) or Operating Room Technician (TSO)
Employment rate: 50% to 100%
Your mission
Within a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, you actively participate in patient care in the operating theatre, ensuring a high level of quality, safety, and organisation.
You will be involved particularly in the following specialties:
- Gynaecology
- Hand surgery
- Plastic and reconstructive surgery
- General and digestive surgery
- ENT
- Orthopaedics
- Urology
- Maxillofacial surgery
Your main responsibilities
- Prepare and check the equipment and instruments necessary for interventions.
- Ensure instrumentation during surgical procedures.
- Guarantee strict compliance with hygiene, asepsis, and safety rules.
- Organise the transport of equipment to sterilisation.
- Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the entire operating theatre team.
- Contribute to the quality of patient care and the smooth running of the theatre.
Your profile
You are a rigorous, organised person who enjoys teamwork in a demanding environment.
You hold the following qualifications:
- Diploma as a Specialised Operating Theatre Nurse (IDDO) or Operating Room Technician (TSO).
- Alternatively, a nursing diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross with the right to practise in Switzerland.
- At least one year of experience in a multidisciplinary operating theatre.
- Excellent mastery of instrumentation techniques.
- Good adaptability and sense of priorities.
- Team spirit, autonomy, and stress resistance.
- Excellent command of French.
