USP Technician - Bio-Pharma (M/F): Lead Fermentation in GMP! ?
Are you an expert in Upstream Processing (USP) looking for a challenging role in the North Vaud region? Our client, a major player in biopharma, is recruiting two experienced USP Technicians for a dynamic and operational team!
Temporary contract until the end of 2027
Start: October 2026
Based in: Yverdon-les-Bains
Your main mission will be to take charge of USP equipment, ensuring an unwavering level of excellence and GMP compliance. You will be at the heart of the chain, from execution to continuous improvement!
Technical and Quality Responsibilities
- Operation & Control: Operate production equipment and perform IPCs (In-Process Controls) in strict accordance with GMP standards.
- Operational Rigour: Execute the production schedule, maintain the area (cleaning, application of 5S) and contribute to equipment qualification.
- Deviation Management: Identify, document and investigate non-conformities and quality deviations.
- Batch Administration: Manage release documentation (review exceptions, close batch records).
- Development: Follow the training plan, share your expertise and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Gemba).
- Culture: Act as a role model, promote integrity and ensure efficient and proactive production.
Profile
- Solid Education: Technical or scientific training (CFC, Bachelor HES, DUT/BTS) in industrial pharmacy, bio/chemistry or equivalent.
- Essential Experience: Minimum 3 years of practical experience in a GMP production environment.
- Languages: Fluent French (spoken and written) and English at B1 level (reading/writing).
- Flexibility: High availability for shift work (including weekends if necessary) and adaptability to occasional day shifts.
- Team Spirit: Ability to work in a demanding and regulated environment, with a strong collaborative spirit.
