The Children’s Hospital Zurich, with around 3,000 employees, is the largest university children’s hospital in Switzerland and one of the leading centres for paediatrics and adolescent medicine in Europe. In addition to the entire spectrum of paediatric medicine and paediatric surgery, the hospital also offers a unique children’s rehab in Affoltern am Albis. Your Tasks
- You ensure a service-oriented gastronomy service of high quality.
- You replenish the various catering stations in our restaurant.
- You prepare catering for meetings and events and carry out events.
- You process internal orders via the ordering system.
- You assist with or independently carry out preparations for the timely opening/closing of the restaurant.
- You are responsible for compliance with all hygiene standards in the restaurant, as well as for a consistently hygienic and appealing presentation.
- Menu distribution and daily cash reconciliation are also part of your duties.
- If necessary, you support in the dishwashing area and in the cold kitchen.
Your Profile
- Training as a restaurant specialist EFZ and/or professional experience in service
- Very good German language skills
- Positive and charming demeanour
- Service-oriented, independent and communicative personality
- Resilient, flexible and willingness to work weekends and public holidays
