Financial Accounting Specialist with FA (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you will take on a varied and responsible position in financial accounting with a high degree of independence. You will be responsible for diverse tasks in accounting and ensure a professional, customer-oriented service. Through direct communication with various companies, you will coordinate finance-related matters and contribute to efficient processes. At the same time, you will actively shape financial processes and bring in your ideas for optimisation. You will benefit from a motivated, collegial environment that supports your professional development.
Responsibilities:
- You ensure the smooth running of daily operations and take overall responsibility for the accounting of individual group companies.
- In this role, you independently manage financial accounting and ensure the proper posting of all business transactions.
- You prepare quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations for defined group companies.
- In this role, you post bank and cash vouchers, execute payment transactions on time, and regularly reconcile relevant accounts.
- You prepare VAT returns including sales reconciliations and support receivables management including the debt collection process.
- In this role, you actively participate in optimising processes in finance and accounting and serve as a contact person for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- You have a commercial basic education and further training in finance and accounting (e.g. specialist in finance and accounting with a federal diploma) or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting as well as a confident approach to closing accounts distinguish you.
- You are proficient in Excel; knowledge of the ERP system Abacus is a plus.
- You communicate very confidently in German, both spoken and written, and have good French skills to support a group company in Western Switzerland.
- A structured, precise, and independent working style is natural for you.
- You are service-oriented, resilient, and enjoy working in a team as well as cross-departmentally.
