Role:
You take overall technical responsibility for a versatile IT landscape. Stability and security are as much a focus as continuous modernisation. You accompany digitalisation projects from the idea to productive operation. In tricky disruptions, you are the authority that reliably finds solutions. And because you like to think outside the box, you also actively shape architecture and technology topics.
Responsibilities:
You operate, administer and further develop the entire IT infrastructure, from server and storage to network and client systems
You manage Microsoft 365, Azure as well as hybrid environments and continuously optimise them
You ensure availability, performance and security of all systems
You plan and implement infrastructure and digitalisation projects and strengthen backup, disaster recovery and security concepts
You resolve complex disruptions in 2nd and 3rd level support
Additionally, you contribute to IT architecture and technology topics, maintain documentation and work closely with specialist departments and service providers
Qualifications:
You have completed IT training or a corresponding degree
You bring several years of experience as a system engineer, ideally from an internal IT organisation
You have solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure) and experience with virtualisation solutions (VMware / Citrix)
You possess good network knowledge as well as experience in project management and infrastructure projects
Microsoft certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365 or Security complete your profile
You work independently, structured and responsibly, convince through service orientation and communication skills and have very good German and good English skills
