The Restaurant-Bar Ramazzotti, part of the Berest Group, is located just a few steps from the market square, centrally in Basel's old town. In the typically Italian caffè bar, guests enjoy an authentic southern feel-good atmosphere. At lunchtime, the lively city operation with its 120 seats focuses on the speedy preparation and quick serving of its homemade pizzas. In the evening, the emphasis is on refined service with a personal atmosphere. Besides the paper-thin, crispy pizzas, fine pasta and selected meat from the hot stone are popular house specialties. Ramazzotti also often offers attractive wines from large bottles (up to 12 litres) on tap.

As a host personality, we are looking for an ambitious

Deputy Operations Manager / Host (m/f) 80%-100%

Your tasks include:

• In addition to active participation in service, you take on various administrative tasks and are responsible for handling reservation requests
• You help organise and optimise operational processes
• Handling beverage purchasing and deliveries is also part of your duties, as well as inventory recording
• You create staff duty rosters and are responsible for economically sensible deployment planning
• You support the team in designing the food and drink menus
• You independently plan and implement sales and promotional campaigns

Your profile

• You are an upbeat personality who likes to get stuck in and understands how to live Italianità and thus inspire guests
• Consistent entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as enjoyment of teamwork in this authentic environment characterise you
• You have a service qualification or bring experience in the hospitality industry
• You have organisational talent, appreciate guest contact and are a good team leader
• Fluent German skills in spoken and written form, Italian a great advantage
