ParaWork supports people with spinal cord injuries or mobility impairments even after inpatient rehabilitation when re-entering school, vocational training, or the workforce. The work implementation closely follows the principles of Supported Employment (SE) and Supported Education (SEd) Switzerland. The job coaching team operates both from the office in Nottwil and from home offices, enabling flexible, location-independent, and efficient support processes.
Your responsibilities
- Needs-based advice and support for clients in their professional integration after rehabilitation
- Coordination of client and system partner concerns (employers, schools, guarantors, insurance, SPZ outpatient clinic)
- Job acquisition for and with clients
- Coaching employers and moderating round-table discussions on site
- Responsible for comprehensive documentation and administration of protocols and reports
Your profile
- Basic pedagogical or social education and ideally further training in job coaching or labour market integration
- Several years of professional experience in vocational integration
- Solid social insurance knowledge
- French language skills spoken are an advantage
- Strong empathy and communication skills
- Enjoy working independently on case management and self-organised work
- High mobility and flexibility for fieldwork (throughout German-speaking Switzerland)
