Our client is a globally active, successful and specialised supplier and niche player in the industrial sector. The SME with around 50 employees is part of an international corporate group and has its headquarters in the Basel agglomeration, where the high-quality products are developed and produced.

We are looking immediately or by arrangement for a professionally competent, sales-strong and customer-oriented personality to strengthen the existing sales team.

Employee: Order & Export Processing 70% - from Freight Forwarding to Industry!

• Receipt and recording of orders as well as their complete processing up to delivery, including the creation of all necessary documents
• Independent handling of customs clearance in the export and import area (EU customs clearance) as well as maintaining good contacts with logistics companies and authorities
• Comprehensive support of sales, especially monitoring order intake, processing returns and maintaining the debtor master data (experience with ERP Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage)
• Handling complaints, returns and warranty cases
• Responsibility for the telephone switchboard as well as processing incoming and outgoing mail
• General sales support, including travel organisation, participation in trade fairs and support in marketing measures
• Willingness to increase the workload to 80% after one year, as well as from the start during holiday cover, if necessary

• Completed training as a foreign trade specialist, freight forwarding clerk or commercial vocational training with corresponding experience
• Sound knowledge in export and import business, especially in EU customs clearance as well as the creation of e-dec export documents taking into account customs and tax regulations
• Experience in a comparable position in logistics and internal sales.
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written, further language skills are an advantage
• Teamwork, negotiation skills, initiative, flexibility, resilience and experience in an SME environment
