- Ensuring stable and reliable operation of modern IT workplaces and associated services
- Analysis and resolution of more complex technical faults in the client and workplace environment
- Automation of recurring processes and technical workflows using Bash, Python, and other scripting technologies
- Evaluation and introduction of new technologies to further develop existing IT services
- Technical consulting of internal departments on workplace, client, and infrastructure topics
- Gathering technical requirements as well as designing and implementing suitable solutions within IT projects
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and active knowledge transfer within the IT team
- Several years of professional experience in system engineering, workplace engineering, client engineering, or a comparable IT function
- Solid practical knowledge in the administration and operation of Windows client environments
- Experience with macOS and iOS as well as sound knowledge of the Linux environment
- Good practical scripting skills in Bash and Python; PowerShell knowledge is an advantage
- Profound understanding of client infrastructures, operating systems, automation, and modern IT operational processes
- Fluent German skills (C2) and very good English skills (at least B2) as well as a strong service and communication orientation
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Possession of a category B driving licence
- Broad range of tasks between system engineering, workplace, automation, and project work
- Heterogeneous system landscape with Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms

Responsibilities
- Administration, operation, and further development of a heterogeneous client infrastructure with Windows, macOS, and Linux- Ensuring stable and reliable operation of modern IT workplaces and associated services
- Analysis and resolution of more complex technical faults in the client and workplace environment
- Automation of recurring processes and technical workflows using Bash, Python, and other scripting technologies
- Evaluation and introduction of new technologies to further develop existing IT services
- Technical consulting of internal departments on workplace, client, and infrastructure topics
- Gathering technical requirements as well as designing and implementing suitable solutions within IT projects

Profile
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or a completed degree (HF/FH) in computer science or a comparable IT field- Several years of professional experience in system engineering, workplace engineering, client engineering, or a comparable IT function
- Solid practical knowledge in the administration and operation of Windows client environments
- Experience with macOS and iOS as well as sound knowledge of the Linux environment
- Good practical scripting skills in Bash and Python; PowerShell knowledge is an advantage
- Profound understanding of client infrastructures, operating systems, automation, and modern IT operational processes
