About our client

For our client, an electrical building technology company established for almost 90 years in the Basel region and throughout north-west Switzerland, we are looking for a committed professional as a Switchgear Assembler (m/f/d). The company has earned a leading market position in the fields of electrical engineering, automation and switchgear construction through high quality standards and the targeted use of modern technologies.


 

Your tasks

• Assembly and wiring of electrical components in switchgear and control systems
• Manufacture of control cabinets based on diagrams, disposition plans and technical documents
• Collaboration with project management, electrical planning and technical office throughout the entire manufacturing process
• Carrying out quality and functional tests on wired systems
• Documentation and acceptance of completed switchgear
• Support during commissioning as well as troubleshooting and rectification
• If necessary, taking on maintenance and service assignments directly at the customer’s site
  
   

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as an automation mechanic, automation technician, certified electrician or in a comparable electrical engineering profession
• Professional experience in control cabinet or switchgear construction or in industrial electrical engineering
• Confident handling of electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Manual dexterity combined with pronounced technical understanding
• Independent, precise and reliable working style
• High sense of responsibility and quality awareness
• Good oral and written German skills
• Driving licence category B is an advantage
