About the job
Our field of activity:
Industrial machines for heavy equipment in the naval sector.
Development, realisation and manufacture of special machines integrating robotics, automation and welding.
Your main responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain the software/HMI on the programmable logic controllers of our machines.
Program, code and simulate industrial processes according to customer specifications.
Perform testing, debugging and commissioning of our machines on site.
Carry out commissioning at our clients’ premises (intercontinental travel to be expected).
Work closely with the welding, electrical, software and robotics engineering teams.
Write and maintain technical documentation.
Write functional analyses of programmes and participate in risk analysis.
Provide support and maintenance for deployed systems.
Your profile:
Engineer or technician training in automation.
Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial machine programming.
Significant experience in integrating industrial systems with HMI, robots and software.
Proficiency with Siemens PLCs (Step7/Tia Portal/WinCC), Schneider is an advantage.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Profinet, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, MQTT, etc.)
Dynamic, pragmatic and autonomous personality, with good interpersonal skills and a strong technical culture.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is necessary.
