Do you wish to take charge of a branch and play a central role in its commercial and operational development? We are looking, on behalf of a recognised player in the construction sector in Switzerland, for a Branch Manager for its offices based in Lausanne.

In this highly autonomous role, you are responsible for the development of the branch, its results, and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

* Ensure the management and development of the branch
* Develop and retain the existing client portfolio
* Identify and win new clients through an active professional network
* Supervise projects and sites, from work preparation to final acceptance
* Prepare and monitor commercial offers
* Ensure financial monitoring and controlling of projects and the branch
* Guarantee compliance with safety, quality, deadlines, and profitability requirements
* Manage, support, and motivate teams
* Represent the branch to clients, partners, and various sector stakeholders
* Actively participate in the development of business in the Lausanne region and the canton of Vaud

Your profile

* Degree in engineering from a University of Applied Sciences/ETH, technician, site manager, or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience in the construction sector
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and business development skills
* Experience in project and site management
* Enterprising, autonomous, and solution-oriented personality
* Excellent interpersonal skills and strong relational abilities
* Good technical skills and interest in economic and management aspects
* Strong sense of safety and quality
* Structured, efficient, and pragmatic working method
* Very good knowledge of MS Office
* Hands-on spirit and ability to make decisions quickly
