Role:
In this key technical role, you will be responsible for setting up, optimising, and releasing injection moulding processes and ensuring the highest quality standards. You will work closely with development, quality, toolmaking, and production and contribute significantly to process stability and further development.
Responsibilities:
Independent setup, commissioning, and optimisation of injection moulding machines and peripheral equipment
Conducting sampling, trials, and series startups in collaboration with quality, development, and toolmaking
Documentation of process data, test results, and approvals according to internal standards
Analysis and optimisation of process parameters to ensure product quality and reproducibility
Troubleshooting and fault rectification on machines, tools, and automation systems
Qualifications:
Completed training as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology, plastics technologist specialising in injection moulding, or comparable technical education
Several years of experience in setting up, sampling, and optimising injection moulding machines
Sound knowledge of tool technology, process technology, and ideally in automated production cells
Experience with GMP, cleanroom, and quality inspections is an advantage
Confident handling of documentation systems, test plans, and approval processes
Strong technical understanding, analytical thinking, and solution-oriented working style
Willingness to work shifts
Good German skills, English is an advantage
