Project Buyer with an Affinity for Technology (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 105,000Role:
As a technical project buyer, you take on a central role at the interface between technology, project management, and suppliers. You ensure that technical components and assemblies are procured on time, economically, and in the required quality.
Responsibilities:
Independent management of technical purchasing within demanding projects
Procurement of mechanical, electrical, and technical components as well as services
Obtaining and evaluating offers as well as conducting price and contract negotiations
Selection, development, and management of national and international suppliers
Analysis of procurement markets and identification of suitable suppliers and savings potentials
Participation in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies
Technical and commercial clarification of requirements with design, engineering, production, and project management
Ensuring costs, quality, and deadlines within projects
Negotiation of prices, delivery times, payment terms, and other contract conditions
Support of suppliers with technical and quality-related issues
Qualifications:
You have a technical or commercial education with appropriate further training
Ideally, you have:
Completed technical training
Several years of professional experience in technical purchasing
Good technical understanding, especially of technical drawings
Experience in supplier development and supplier management
Negotiation skills as well as a strong cost and quality awareness
Good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office
Very good German skills and good English skills
A structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and enjoyment in collaborating with different departments
