Technical Buyer (m/f/d)
Our client is an internationally active Swiss technology company with its own development and production. The company operates in an innovative, dynamic environment and offers diverse tasks with an international focus.
Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, you are responsible for procuring technical components for new developments. You manage suppliers from selection through to handover to serial purchasing.
Responsibilities:
Create cost models and implement savings together with suppliers
Document processes, checklists and templates so that serial purchasing can take over suppliers
Research, evaluate and guide new suppliers through staged approval
Negotiate contracts including prices, scales and payment terms
Define delivery deadlines, risks and number of sourcing options per material group
Check suppliers on-site or digitally for quality systems, traceability and export regulations
Monitor sample and pre-series orders in terms of timing and evaluate delivery reliability
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in purchasing or product introduction of technical products
Ability to read technical drawings and collaborate with development engineers
Experience with ISO 9001 or supplier audits
ERP knowledge and basic knowledge of customs and export law
Degree in engineering, logistics or business
Fluent English and willingness to travel abroad
Industry knowledge in aviation, drones or medical technology as well as experience with multi-site approvals is a plus
