About our client

For our client, an internationally active company in the field of biopharmaceutical active ingredient manufacturing, we are looking for an experienced Biological Production Operator (m/f/d). The company operates in biological drug production and relies on state-of-the-art GMP-compliant processes as well as the use of innovative single-use technologies – making it one of the leading players in the life sciences sector in Northwestern Switzerland.

Your tasks

• Independent execution of GMP- and GDocP-compliant routine tasks in the areas of weighing & dispensing as well as solution supply (USP/DSP)
• Sampling and processing of samples according to valid sampling plans, SOPs and batch protocols
• Preparation, assembly and disassembly of single-use systems as well as process equipment and apparatus
• Carrying out cleaning, washing and autoclaving tasks according to validated procedures
• Support with calibrations and routine maintenance as well as with the provision and transfer of materials
• Complete and precise GMP documentation in batch records, logbooks and electronic systems
• Recognising and escalating deviations, safety observations and exceptional situations

Your profile

• Completed technical or scientific vocational training (e.g. biotechnology, chemistry, laboratory professions)
• At least 3 years of professional experience in GMP manufacturing, ideally in the biotech or pharmaceutical environment
• Solid understanding of GDP principles and ALCOA+ principles
• Experience working in cleanroom environments as well as biotech-specific equipment (single-use and stainless steel systems)
• Practical experience in sampling, material handling and GMP documentation
• High attention to detail, compliance awareness and team orientation
• Very good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written)
