Context

As part of strengthening its Cybersecurity roadmap, our client, an international group based in Switzerland, is seeking a Senior GRC Project Manager to join its IT / Cybersecurity organisation.

The consultant will work within a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team and will be responsible for framing, managing and coordinating several cross-functional projects related to governance, risk, compliance and cybersecurity.

The role requires strong structuring, coordination and communication skills with IT, business and support function stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Project portfolio framing and planning

• Understand the context, existing work, stakeholders and dependencies.

• Formalise the Project Charters: objectives, scope, governance, responsibilities, deliverables, milestones and success criteria.

• Build and maintain a consolidated portfolio roadmap.

• Identify priorities, capacities, dependencies and critical paths.

• Implement management tools and ensure they are kept up to date.

Operational management of GRC projects

• Develop and monitor project plans, milestones, workloads, actions, risks, issues and decisions.

• Coordinate internal and external teams and various stakeholders.

• Organise and facilitate project committees, workshops and coordination meetings.

• Identify deviations and alert the relevant stakeholders.

• Prepare decisions, arbitrations and action plans.

• Ensure the lifecycle management of deliverables: production, review, validation, versioning and archiving.

Reporting and RUN activities monitoring

• Produce a consolidated view of portfolio progress.

• Report to management and governance bodies.

• Monitor progress indicators, schedules, capacity, risks, dependencies, actions and decisions.

• Consolidate indicators related to the recurring activities of the GRC team.

• Identify gaps and track corrective actions until closure.

Quality, audit and compliance

• Align project objectives, expected controls, evidence and remediation plans.

• Prepare structured and reusable evidence dossiers for internal and external reviews.

• Follow up on audit findings and actions until closure.

• Ensure quality and traceability of project documentation.

Change management and transition to RUN

• Coordinate communication and adoption needs with the relevant teams.

• Prepare and organise the transition of projects to RUN.

• Close projects and document results, residual risks and remaining actions.

Profile sought

We are looking for a confirmed to senior profile with more than 7 years’ experience in IT project or programme management, ideally in the fields of cybersecurity, GRC, risk or compliance.

You notably have:

• Proven experience managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.

• Good understanding of cybersecurity, governance, risk management, audit and compliance issues.

• Strong ability to structure complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.

• Significant experience preparing and facilitating committees, workshops and governance bodies.

• Good mastery of reporting to management and governing bodies.

• Mastery of project management practices: planning, risks, dependencies, RAID log, governance, change management, action tracking.

• Experience in a regulated environment or subject to control and audit requirements.

• Excellent communication and synthesis skills.

Certifications

ITIL v4 certification mandatory, or commitment to obtain it within the first four months of the assignment.

• IPMA

• Scrum / SAFe

• ISO 27001 – Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer

• CISA

• Equivalent certification in project management, cybersecurity or GRC

Languages

Assignment conditions

• Start: November 2026

• Duration: until December 2027, with possibility of extension

• Location: Switzerland, with regular on-site presence
