You design, develop and operate scalable data pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Databricks for batch and streaming applications.
You develop and maintain dimensional data models according to Kimball with dbt and work within a modern Bronze/Silver/Gold architecture.
You create and operate semantic models, dashboards and reports with Power BI for internal stakeholders and external customers.
You translate business data requirements into reliable and scalable technical solutions and take holistic responsibility for your data products.
You ensure quality, documentation and monitoring and contribute to Terraform, CI/CD, code reviews as well as the continuous development of the platform.
Qualifications:
You have a degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a comparable field or bring equivalent professional experience.
You have at least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a comparable role.
You have solid SQL knowledge and experience with modern data transformation practices, ideally with dbt.
You are proficient with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Power BI including DAX and semantic models as well as Python.
You are familiar with data governance and modern data architectures such as Unity Catalog, Data Vault, Kimball and Medallion architecture as well as Terraform and CI/CD.
