Boulangerie Zogbi is looking for a warm, dynamic and versatile person to join its team in Bussigny.

We offer artisanal slow-fermented breads, fine pastries as well as a gourmet selection for the tea-room, including coffees, teas and various carefully prepared specialties. Every day, we aim to provide our customers with a warm and tasty break.

Your role

Under the responsibility of the manager and the sales point supervisor, you will participate in the daily life of the shop and tea-room. Your tasks will be varied:

• Welcome, advise and serve customers with attention and good humour;
• Present and sell breads, pastries, grocery products and daily specials;
• Prepare orders, package products and handle payments;
• Prepare snacks: sandwiches, salads, quiches and other offered products;
• Ensure service in the tea-room, especially for drinks and table orders;
• Set up display cases and sales areas, ensure their restocking and presentation;
• Participate in preparing the shop before opening and closing it;
• Maintain sales, preparation and service areas to keep a clean and welcoming environment;
• Apply hygiene and food safety rules;
• Participate, as needed, in events or services organised outside the shop.

Your profile

We are looking for a person who:

• Enjoys customer contact and knows how to provide a friendly and attentive service;
• Has excellent command of French, essential for the role, both spoken and written;
• Knowledge of another language is an advantage, especially Portuguese, English, Spanish, etc.;
• Is versatile, organised and enjoys teamwork;
• Is comfortable in a lively environment, with tasks that evolve throughout the day;
• Ideally has experience in sales, bakery-pastry or catering;
• Training in sales or catering is appreciated;
• Is available to work according to the sales point’s hours, including weekends.
