Senior Consultant Clinic Cardiology (a)

This is what the professional daily routine looks like

• Running your own clinic, performing ergometries, stress echocardiographies, transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiographies, pacemaker, ICD and CRT clinics, and spiroergometries
• Regular work in the field of specialised cardiac imaging, especially cardiac MRI
• Clinical care of inpatient cardiology patients and co-care of patients in the Heart, Vascular & Thorax Centre as well as the intensive care unit/IMC
• Participation in cross-site cardiology on-call service
• Involvement in internal and external training events of the clinic
• Co-responsibility for the training of cardiology assistant doctors
• Depending on additional qualifications, Senior Consultant with medical responsibility possible

Competences and potential

• Completed specialist training in cardiology, completed specialist training in general internal medicine is an advantage
• Advanced knowledge in specialised cardiac imaging, especially cardiac MRI (with certification option for Senior Consultant with medical responsibility)
• High level of responsibility in a small team
• Understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration
