NOMAD is a public Neuchâtel institution for home help and care, with nearly 500 collaborators. Our mission is to provide our expertise in home care and support, to accompany the life projects of the inhabitants of the canton of Neuchâtel. We are firmly committed to making these services accessible to everyone residing in the canton, regardless of age, social or economic situation. Our services are provided by a network of small care teams, operating autonomously and agilely, and distributed across 3 regions: Areuse, Doubs and Seyon.
To strengthen our teams, we are looking for:
Life Assistants 50-80%, permanent contract
Your mission:
You provide hygiene and comfort care, family assistance and household help at the homes of people with physical, psychological dependency or disability.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide care services to the client according to care objectives (administration of various medications/treatments and basic care)
- Support the client in daily living activities
- Establish a trusting relationship with the client and their family and encourage autonomy
- Actively participate in exchange and collaboration within the micro-team
Your profile:
- Training as a Red Cross health assistant or equivalent qualification
- Experience in home care or geriatrics is an asset
- Knowledge of standard IT tools and comfortable with health software
- Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
- Sense of responsibility and organisation
- Good interpersonal skills and empathy
- Possession of a driving licence
