You will take on a central leadership role in a medium-sized, solidly established industrial company in Central Switzerland. As Head of IT Software Development, you will significantly shape the digital future of the company: you are responsible for the further development of a proprietary ERP system, which is continuously expanded and intended to map all business processes. Database architecture, framework, and initial functionalities are already in place – you will build on a sustainable technical foundation. Short decision-making paths, a highly skilled team, and close collaboration with project management and executive management characterise this environment.

Your Tasks

Technical and personnel management of the software development team
Further development and strategic expansion of the proprietary ERP system
Responsibility for sustainable architecture and technology decisions
Transfer of development packages into technical concepts and their operational implementation in close cooperation with the project team
Definition and enforcement of development standards (code reviews, documentation, quality assurance)
Ensuring quality, maintainability, and scalability of software solutions
Coordination of external service providers
Promotion of innovation and continuous improvement of development processes

Our Requirements

Completed training or degree in computer science (HF, FH or university)
Several years of professional experience in software development, ideally in an industrial environment
Sound knowledge of C# / .NET as well as MS SQL
Confident understanding of software architecture and system integration, preferably in the ERP environment
Openness to AI-supported software development and modern development methods
Structured, solution-oriented working style and entrepreneurial thinking
Leadership experience or strong willingness to take responsibility for a team
