The St. Jakob Foundation in Zurich offers protected workplaces and day structures for around 450 people with disabilities.
For our team in the pastry shop, we are looking for a humorous, flexible, and motivated baker/pastry chef/confectioner from 01.11.2026 or by arrangement. Career changers are also welcome to apply.
These are your tasks:
- Alternating and independent management of the various stations in the pastry late shift (catering, patisserie, and display station)
- Independent production of our high-quality pastry products
- Supporting, accompanying, and promoting our employees in their work execution
- Recognising the needs of employees and guiding them to the desired services
- Ordering raw materials
You bring the following:
- Completed vocational training in this or a similar profession baker - pastry chef - confectioner EFZ
- Quick comprehension and good professional knowledge
- You are an entrepreneurial-thinking and loyal person
- Flexibility, resilience, tolerance, and a strong sense of order and cleanliness
- Team spirit as well as high social competence, empathy, and motivation
- Very good oral and written German skills
- Impeccable reputation

The working hours for the late shift are from 1:00 pm to approx. 9:45 pm. In addition, Sunday work is mandatory for this position.
