Certified General Accountant - Geneva - Permanent Contract

Founded in 2001, Fed Finance is a recruitment agency specialising in accounting and finance professions.

For one of our clients based in Geneva, we are looking for a Senior General Accountant/Certified Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Department, you will be responsible for the entire accounting cycle in a demanding and dynamic environment.

Your main duties:

- Maintaining general and subsidiary ledgers.
- Monthly and annual closings, preparation of financial statements.
- Managing cash flow, fixed assets and bank reconciliations.
- Preparing VAT returns and monitoring Swiss tax obligations.
- Preparing audit files and collaborating with the fiduciary.
- Participating in financial reporting, budget monitoring and improving accounting processes.

We are looking for someone with:

- Federal diploma as a specialist in finance and accounting highly appreciated.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting in Switzerland.
- Excellent knowledge of closings, VAT and Swiss accounting.
- Fluent French, English or Italian is an asset.
- Autonomous, rigorous and organised person.
