Exciting tasks await:
- Triage of admitted prisoners and clarification of whether an assessment of the ability to serve the sentence is necessary as well as medical admission interviews
- Independent conduct of consultations for prisoners to ensure basic medical care including diagnostic assessments (clinical examinations, laboratory tests, electrocardiogram, ultrasound examinations, etc.)
- Interpretation of diagnostic results, derivation and implementation of medical care and therapeutic measures
- Obtaining (specialist) medical assessments via telepresence/healthpresence (video conference connection with doctors)
- Administrative tasks, ordering, preparing and dispensing medication
What you bring:
- Qualification as a certified nurse HF and completed further training (NDS intensive or emergency care HF or similar)
- Several years of professional experience in acute medicine
- Independent working style as well as resilience and decisiveness in emergency interventions
- Good user knowledge of MS Office, oral foreign language skills are an advantage
- Driving licence category B, impeccable character (current criminal and debt register extract), willingness to work shifts with changing days off

Your working environment
At the Lenzburg Prison , persons sentenced to imprisonment or custodial measures are cared for. The facility offers 380 places for closed enforcement, pre-trial detention and short sentences.
The central prison of the Lenzburg Prison is expanding its services and creating a specialised admission department, which will in future handle all cantonal prison admissions around the clock. To ensure medical care during the admission process, a specialised health service is being established, which plays a central role in the initial health assessment and support of admitted persons.
