IT System Administrator (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is a German company specialising in the development, production and distribution of electronic components and systems. Our partner is known for automation, robotics, energy supply, telecommunications and transport.
The company offers a wide range of products and services, including customised solutions for special requirements.
Role:
In this role, you take on the technical leadership of IT system support and ensure the stable, secure and high-performance operation of the IT infrastructure. You are responsible for planning, further development and standardisation of the systems and platforms used. In doing so, you analyse and optimise existing processes, coordinate complex changes and ensure high availability of business-critical applications. You also act as the central contact person for escalations, make well-founded decisions in fault situations and ensure sustainable documentation of the system landscape. Through your experience, you lead the team technically, support the prioritisation of tasks and promote knowledge transfer within IT system support.
Responsibilities:
- You ensure stable and efficient IT operations across all client, server and infrastructure environments.
- In this role, you maintain, develop and optimise the IT infrastructure and ensure availability and performance.
- You analyse user and system problems in 2nd and 3rd level support and resolve them sustainably.
- As IT system support lead, you manage and develop the client environment including hardware, software and backup solutions.
- You are responsible for the management and operation of mobile devices and support the local IT-related infrastructure such as power, climate control and access.
- In this role, you plan and implement IT projects in the client and peripheral area and actively participate in infrastructure projects.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ system technology or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in the operation and support of client and server environments
- In-depth experience with complex Active Directory environments in multi-domain structures
- Proven experience in leading and implementing IT projects
- Strong sense of responsibility, high service orientation and hands-on mentality
- Very good German and good English skills (at least level B2)
