Would you like to contribute with your leadership and design skills to ensure that children and young people with disabilities receive the special education that suits them? Then you will take on a key role in the Department of Public School Education and, together with your team, shape the further development of an effective and future-oriented assignment process.
Your tasks
- With your commitment, you help ensure that children and young people with disabilities receive special education tailored to their needs.
- You lead a team of specialists and administrative staff in a resource-oriented manner with clarity, trust, and a high standard of quality.
- Together with your team, you review special education applications and take on controlling tasks, advise regular and special schools, institutions, and specialised services, and continuously develop specialist topics.
- You manage the volume of applications proactively, plan the availability of places according to demand, and contribute your expertise to projects and the further development of processes.
- As a member of the management team, you help shape the further development of special education, conduct quality discussions together with the department management, and collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside the department.
Your profile
- You hold a master’s degree in educational sciences, special education, psychology (e.g. developmental psychology), business administration, public management, or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in a leadership or expert role in the field of special education or public administration, as well as further training in leadership, form the basis for successfully managing a demanding specialist area.
- Your networked thinking and a pronounced understanding of complex contexts enable you to develop processes effectively, efficiently, and economically.
- Initiative, enthusiasm for design, and a solution-oriented leadership style characterise you, as does the ability to bring together different interests.
- A structured and efficient way of working as well as the ability to maintain an overview even in complex issues complete your profile.
