Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the planning management of demanding GU/TU building projects. You will take overall responsibility for the planning and lead interdisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, specialist planners and experts through all relevant project phases. The focus is on cost, schedule and quality control, GU/TU contract management, BIM as well as resource and capacity planning. As the central interface between planning, procurement and project management, you will further develop the project strategy and ensure an economical, coordinated and execution-ready plan.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the planning management of GU/TU building projects across all relevant project phases
Development and specification of the project and planning strategy taking into account project goals, execution and economic efficiency
Leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary architecture, engineering and specialist planning teams
Responsibility for controlling and monitoring planning costs, schedules, quality and planning progress
Creation and management of planning scheduling, milestone planning as well as resource and capacity planning
Management of interfaces between architecture, structural engineering, building services, timber construction, specialist planning and execution
Management of procurement and awarding of planning services as well as technical review of the corresponding planner contracts
Ensuring contract compliance and documentation within the framework of GU/TU contracts and TU work contracts
Continuous planning controlling with early detection of schedule, cost and quality deviations
Development and implementation of corrective, escalation and resolution measures in case of planning-related deviations
Management and quality assurance of the BIM-based planning methodology as well as use of digital and cloud-based collaboration platforms
Ensuring planning according to relevant SIA standards, Swiss building regulations and contractual project requirements
Qualifications:
Degree as Architect FH/ETH/University, certified technician HF or comparable higher technical education in construction
Several years of professional experience in planning management and leading interdisciplinary planning teams, ideally in the GU/TU environment
Sound knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, GU/TU contracts and planning processes as well as experience in resource, cost and schedule control
Good knowledge of BIM, CAD and digital collaboration platforms; experience in timber construction is an advantage
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
