Interventional psychiatry offers treatment alternatives or supplements to the psychotherapeutic and medicinal therapies at the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. Interventional psychiatry refers to treatment with electrical or electromagnetic methods; special pharmacological interventions may also be included. These methods represent a treatment alternative or supplement to psychotherapeutic and medicinal therapies. At the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the PDAG, we perform treatments using electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), and treatments with esketamine.

- You have completed training as a Dipl. Nurse / Dipl. Nurse HF or Health Specialist EFZ
- You enjoy patient contact and appreciate interaction with people

Tasks
- You care for and monitor our outpatient and inpatient patients in the recovery room before and after ECT, actively shaping their recovery process
- Your duties include inserting venous access, with further training possible in this area to expand your expertise
- You apply your medical knowledge in the independent execution of medically prescribed measures
- You are trained to recognise emergency situations and complications early and to act appropriately
