Your Tasks
- Maintenance, diagnostic and repair work on the electrical systems of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles, with a focus on buses
- Commissioning and maintenance of control systems
- Programming and maintenance of traffic light controls
- Commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of the integrated on-board information system (IBIS)
- Ensuring the function of the ticketing and control system
- Commissioning, maintenance and fault diagnosis of interior and exterior displays (passenger information systems)
- Close cooperation with sales to identify customer wishes and develop customised solutions
- Preparation of vehicles for BAV approval
Your Profile
- Completed basic training as an automotive mechatronics technician for commercial vehicles (vehicle electrician-electronics technician, truck mechanic) with good electrical knowledge
- Professional experience with bus components and in the electrical engineering of commercial vehicles is an advantage
- Driving licence category B, preferably C and CE
- Enjoy working precisely in mechanical, electrical and electronic areas
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working and approach
- Team player, highly flexible and committed as well as resilient
