IT System Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Operate and optimise on-premise infrastructure with Windows/Linux servers, clients, networks, and databases.
Ensure availability of business-critical applications and services throughout their entire lifecycle.
Provide 1st/2nd-level support, analyse faults, and provide technical assistance to users.
Stage and patch server and client systems, and keep configurations and system documentation up to date.
Implement projects and new technologies together with internal teams and external suppliers.
Qualifications:
Education or degree in computer science with good knowledge of system technology, networks, and IT security.
Practical experience with Windows and Linux servers as well as Windows client environments.
Knowledge of VMware, Proxmox, VxRail, Palo Alto, Cisco, PRTG, Microsoft 365, Apache or Tomcat is an advantage.
Experience with Zenworks, Docker or Kubernetes is an additional strength, as well as willingness to learn new technologies.
Team and communication skills as well as solid German and good English skills.
