Maintenance Technician (M/F/D)

Persag SA is looking, for one of its renowned partners located in the Biel region, for a Maintenance Technician to strengthen its technical team.

Your mission

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment;
• Intervening in case of breakdowns and performing necessary diagnostics;
• Identifying causes of malfunctions and implementing appropriate solutions;
• Participating in troubleshooting and recommissioning of installations;
• Carrying out necessary adjustments, checks and technical interventions;
• Ensuring follow-up of interventions and completing maintenance documentation;
• Collaborating with different departments to guarantee equipment availability;
• Participating in the improvement and reliability of installations;
• Contributing to identifying optimisation possibilities and reducing downtime;
• Participating in the installation and commissioning of new equipment;
• Respecting procedures, quality standards and safety rules in force;
• Collaborating with production teams and other technical specialists.

Your profile

You are also:

• Comfortable with diagnosing and resolving technical problems;
• Able to work independently while appreciating teamwork;
• Rigorous, methodical and organised;
• Possessing good analytical skills;
• Comfortable in an environment with varied technical equipment;
• Solution-oriented and able to remain calm in urgent situations;
• Aware of quality, safety and reliability issues;
• Comfortable with IT tools and technical documentation;
• Motivated to develop your skills and keep up with technological advances.

Experience in industrial maintenance or automated equipment is an asset.
