Civil Engineering Planner (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Civil Engineering Planner for the planning and coordination of demanding construction projects within a professional full-service environment. You will develop civil engineering, development, drainage and sewerage concepts and thus create the technical foundations for projects ranging from residential construction to larger commercial and high-rise building projects. In addition to specialist planning, you will take on tasks in cost planning, tendering, awarding and authority coordination and accompany the planning through to execution readiness. The position combines sound expertise in civil and structural engineering with economic planning and interdisciplinary project coordination.
Responsibilities:
Development and processing of civil engineering, development, drainage and sewerage concepts for new build and renovation projects
Planning and coordination of utility lines, sewers, site drainage, access roads and landscaping works
Technical processing of interfaces between building construction, civil engineering, specialised civil engineering and landscaping
Coordination of project planning with municipalities, cantonal authorities, utility owners and other approval authorities
Preparation and coordination of the necessary technical documents for approval and permit procedures
Determination and ongoing plausibility checks of phase-appropriate builder and civil engineering costs as well as support for project costing
Preparation of tenders and specifications as well as conducting bid comparisons for specialist planner and contractor services
Participation in submission, awarding and contract preparation in the areas of specialised civil engineering, civil engineering, builder work and landscaping
Management and monitoring of planning processes, deadlines and plan deliveries in close cooperation with project management
Coordination of specialist planners, engineers, contractors and internal project participants as well as resolving technical interfaces
Review and optimisation of planning variants with regard to feasibility, cost-effectiveness and construction process
Ensuring planning complies with relevant SIA standards, VSS standards as well as Swiss civil engineering and drainage regulations
Qualifications:
Training as a draftsperson EFZ specialising in civil engineering, construction foreman, technician HF construction management, builder or civil engineer FH
Several years of professional experience in civil engineering and/or structural engineering, ideally in planning, project design or work preparation
Sound knowledge of drainage, sewerage, utility line and development planning
Experience in cost planning, tendering, submission and awarding of construction and planning services
Knowledge of relevant SIA and VSS standards as well as Swiss approval and building regulations
Good user knowledge of Messerli and Microsoft Office; knowledge of suitable CAD/civil engineering planning software is an advantage
German language skills at least level C1 spoken and written
