Project and Promotion Officer at 80%
with the Culture and Training department.
Your main tasks
- Participate in the development of the City’s cultural policy by analysing potentials, proposing new directions and contributing to their implementation;
- Develop and monitor thematic projects in line with the City’s cultural policy;
- Organise and coordinate cultural events led by the City;
- Coordinate public and private partners involved in cultural projects and events;
- Ensure communication for the Culture section and develop its promotional tools and devices, notably digital ones;
- Promote cultural activities;
- Work closely with cultural actors, City services, funding bodies, partner municipalities and the Tourist Office.
Your profile
- You hold a university degree (bachelor’s, master’s, diploma in cultural management) or a qualification deemed equivalent by a Swiss university;
- You have proven experience in planning and managing cultural projects as well as in cultural promotion;
- You are proficient with digital communication tools, common IT tools and project management tools;
- French-speaking or fluent in French, you have a good knowledge of German; knowledge of another national language and/or English is an asset;
- With excellent interpersonal skills, you are comfortable interacting with actors in the cultural and artistic world;
- Autonomous and flexible, you demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and a real ability to unite people around projects.
Assets include: specialisation in cultural management, project management or public policy planning as well as knowledge in data processing and accounting.

Salary
According to the City of Sion staff regulations and the Municipality’s salary scale.
