Full-time Accounting Assistant (M/F)
As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a full-time accounting assistant. You will participate in managing routine accounting operations and ensuring the smooth administrative functioning of the company.
Your mission
General and financial accounting
- Enter accounting entries related to purchases, sales, banks, and expense reports.
- Receive, check, and record supplier invoices.
- Verify the compliance of invoices and their accounting allocations.
- Prepare payments of supplier invoices in accordance with internal procedures.
- Participate in debtor monitoring, client invoicing, and reminders.
- Update tracking tables and monthly indicators related to debtors.
- Perform bank reconciliations and check suspense accounts.
- Participate in preparatory work for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Provide support for preparing VAT returns and other accounting obligations.
- Participate in the management and monitoring of fixed assets.
- Ensure the filing and structured archiving of accounting documents.
Administrative management of the vehicle fleet
- Ensure the administrative follow-up of the vehicle fleet: contracts, insurance, and official documents.
- Check and record vehicle-related expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and repairs.
- Collaborate with insurers and manage the administrative follow-up of claims.
- Keep tracking tables related to the fleet up to date.
Purchasing management
- Ensure the administrative follow-up of purchase orders and corresponding invoices.
- Verify the consistency between orders, deliveries, and invoices.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify their needs.
- Participate in cost and purchasing process optimisation.
Administrative and accounting support for operations
- Provide administrative and accounting support to operational teams.
- Ensure the monitoring and transmission of financial information related to operational activities.
- Collaborate with operations for the follow-up of client claims and communication with insurers.
- Monitor operational costs related to vehicles, equipment, and consumables.
- Participate in invoicing of services and consumables.
- Prepare necessary documents for external audits.
- Handle internal and external requests related to accounting and operational information.
- Contribute to improving processes between accounting and operations.
Your profile
- You hold a commercial employee federal certificate (CFC), an accounting assistant diploma, or equivalent training.
- You have two to three years of experience in a similar accounting or administrative role.
- You possess good knowledge of basic general accounting principles.
- You have basic knowledge of VAT and Swiss accounting obligations.
- You are proficient with common office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- You are comfortable with accounting software and ERP systems.
- You are familiar with digitalised processes such as electronic invoicing, validation workflows, and online payments.
- You are capable of accurately controlling and monitoring accounting and analytical data.
- You are motivated to progressively develop your skills in accounting.
Your qualities
Meticulous and reliable, you place great importance on data accuracy and adherence to procedures. Your organisational skills and ability to prioritise allow you to manage several files simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
You are autonomous in carrying out your tasks, while appreciating teamwork and exchanges with different departments. Versatile and adaptable, you are comfortable in a role combining accounting, administrative management, and support for operational activities.
