About the job
Your tasks:
- Handling the operational purchasing of components and assemblies from international suppliers
- Processing purchase requisitions and triggering global orders
- Managing just-in-time processes as well as vendor-managed inventory solutions
- Monitoring open orders, delivery dates and material stocks
- Proactively initiating escalation measures in case of supply bottlenecks
- Ensuring uninterrupted material supply for production
- Maintaining daily collaboration with international suppliers
- Managing orders, shipping information, forecasts and electronic invoices
- Creating and sharing supplier forecasts and performance indicators
- Checking and approving incoming invoices
- Clarifying price and quantity discrepancies as well as handling supplier complaints
- Maintaining and ensuring correct master data in SAP ERP
- Creating regular evaluations of orders, supplier performance and inventory levels
- Supporting the onboarding and training of new team members
- Participating in cross-site projects to optimise purchasing and supply chain processes
- Continuously reviewing and improving existing workflows
- Completed bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics or a comparable field
- At least two years of relevant professional experience in purchasing or supply chain management after graduation
- Solid experience in operational purchasing within a manufacturing company
- Very good knowledge of SAP ERP, especially in MM, PP and master data areas
- Experience in participating in or leading projects
- Strong affinity for numbers, data and system-supported processes
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Independent, careful and structured working style
- Proactive, reliable and team-oriented personality
- Ability to maintain an overview and act solution-oriented even during supply shortages
- Degree certificate and current work reference are available
