In this role, you take responsibility for programming, commissioning, and optimising PLC controls in automated systems. You analyse control processes, adapt existing programmes, and ensure the reliable availability of the systems. Additionally, you coordinate interfaces with higher-level systems and ensure thorough documentation of automation solutions. Through your experience in PLC, you contribute significantly to stabilising and continuously improving processes.
Responsibilities:
- You programme PLC-controlled testing and assembly systems as well as robot controls in compliance with SEV and SUVA safety regulations
- In this role, you build new and modified systems and commission them
- As an Automation Engineer PLC, you troubleshoot and perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on automated systems and robot systems
- You document your work steps and activities carefully
- In this role, you identify optimisation potentials in PLC programmes and implement them
- As an Automation Engineer PLC, you actively participate in automation projects
Qualifications:
- You have completed an apprenticeship as an automation technician, ideally with further training, e.g. HF
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable role
- You possess solid knowledge in PLC programming, ideally complemented by experience in robotics
- You work independently, reliably, and with a high quality orientation
- You can communicate convincingly and efficiently with production, logistics, and external suppliers
- You are proficient in MS Office
