About the job
What is my role?
You develop and operate scalable cloud and IoT solutions, including local systems
You integrate IoT devices, sensors and gateways into modern cloud environments
You continuously improve existing cloud architectures and IoT infrastructures
You take technical responsibility for cloud services and IoT components throughout their entire lifecycle
You actively shape new digital products and data-driven services
You support internal teams in rolling out, operating and monitoring the systems
You conduct tests, build prototypes and realise feasibility studies
You ensure security, scalability and availability of all solutions
You monitor current market developments and evaluate new technologies
You work closely with international development and DevOps teams
What do I need to be successful?
Completed studies (FH, university, ETH) in computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering or a related field
Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
Solid programming skills in at least one language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or C#
Practical experience with IoT technologies and protocols (e.g. MQTT, REST, OPC UA)
Know-how in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of modern cloud architectures (microservices, serverless, event-driven architectures)
Experience in data processing and streaming with IoT data platforms
Basic knowledge of IT security (identity & access management, encryption)
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
Enthusiasm for innovative technologies and complex challenges
Very good German and English skills spoken and written
Strong team spirit and communication skills
