Department Manager 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Technical and personnel management of the printing department with around 22 employees and 7 trainees

• Support and targeted development of team members as well as active participation in a contemporary and respectful leadership culture

• Optimisation of workflows and driving continuous improvement processes

• Evaluation and monitoring of key figures as well as development of appropriate measures for sustainable optimisation

• Ensuring a smooth production process taking into account quality, deadline, and safety standards

• Responsibility for print and production approvals as well as quality management

• Budget responsibility, cost-conscious actions, and efficient use of resources within own area of responsibility

• Reliable and flexible cooperation with adjacent specialist departments

What do I need to be successful?

• Technical basic training

• Experience in industrial production with common manufacturing processes

• Initial leadership experience in an industrial environment

• Experience in quality and process management

• Enjoy leading and developing employees

• Strong organisational skills and structured working method

• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as high quality and cost awareness

• Technical understanding of production equipment

• Good user knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office

• Assertiveness, initiative, and hands-on mentality

• Communicative personality with high social competence
