What you can move.
- Monitor the punctuality of passenger trains in your assigned sector at the Traffic Control Center in close collaboration with our partners and take immediate necessary measures in case of disruption to ensure stable and punctual operation.
- Coordinate cross-border traffic in consultation with our partner railway companies abroad.
- Assume overall responsibility for managing disruptions and events in the assigned area and steer the response during incidents.
- As incident manager, maintain an overview in the control room and distribute the workload within the team.
- Ensure high-quality disruption management for the Passenger division by always keeping customers at the centre of decisions.
What you bring.
- Sense of responsibility, autonomy and stress resistance with a strong ability to think and act in a networked manner.
- Ability to maintain an overview in hectic situations, stay calm and find the best possible solutions with the team.
- Strong customer orientation, team spirit and ease in communicating with various interlocutors.
- Availability for continuous shift work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- For this demanding and exciting role, you have a federally recognised apprenticeship, experience in production or operations in disruption management, good knowledge of the railway sector as well as good IT skills.
- Negotiation proficiency in German, French or Italian at level C2 and good knowledge of German and French at least at level B1, even if other mother tongues are yours.
